Welcome.
That will be a short post. Short, yet the important one. Today, at 11:15 am our son was born. Igor - that was the name we chose for him. His journey to external world came to end in a spectacular and express way. At 7 am, Ania (my wife, nicknamed Tygrysek*) woke me up by saying IT would be that day. The amount of sense in my response was proportional to the time of my sleep and as I had been sleeping for 3 hours, I responded without much sense: "Can't we wait a little? Have you made coffee already?". Then we started to get our things together in order to leave the house. At 9 am we left off to the hospital at Żelazna Street, where we had planned to be giving birth. After 30 minutes' ride, during which Ania had experienced things in comparison to which leaving Matrix was a piece o'cake, we reached the place. Registration, then CTG (cardiotocography) recording. Tygrysek flies off during contractions. And bang! No room. The only hospitals we could go were Inflancka and Praski. We decided to go to Praski. It was 10:20 am. We reached the hospital, where a friend of Ania had given birth the previous day. The same order: registration, CTG and examination. It appeared while examining we need to rush to a delivery ward. Ania was taken by a midwife, I took our things. A lot of them! I ran into the delivery ward, Ania was in readiness, a couple (sic!) of ladies from obstetrics were around ...and the delivery started [...] After 15 minutes Igor came to the outer world. The dot weighted 3350 g and was 55 cm in height. What I saw at first were long eye-lashes, a curl of hair looking like a small tornado and crooked index fingers. I will finish it later. Now I am eating boiled potatoes with kefir** and will be coming back to the hospital to deliver things my wife asked me to buy. I will attach links to pics later on.
